Nikel Cosmetics is a Croatian brand all the way in Europe. They specialise in skincare products. These products range from facial care to lip and eye care to body care and protection from the sun’s UV rays. Nikel Cosmetics get inspiration from nature therefore their goal is to create innovative natural products which are achieved through science by Mirjana Brlecic. The natural ingredients that are used are almond oil, ivy, immortelle and flax just to name a few. Everyone experiences skin conditions, whether they are due to internal or external factors we all can relate. The most common skin conditions that people face are oily to dry skin, acne, hyper-pigmentation, wrinkles, cellulite and sensitivity. Skin needs to be nurtured well to maintain firmness and radiance for as long as you can so that by the time you turn 80 you look 40. Skincare goes hand in hand with nutrition, so while you are taking care of your skin watch what you are putting into your body as well.
I was fortunate enough to receive an invite from Beauty-Worx to attend the Nikel Cosmetics launch at the Sibaya Casino in Durban. The absolutely gorgeous Leigh-Anne Williams was there to share her experience with Nikel Cosmetics. She said that ever since she started using this product her skin has never been so clear and felt so smooth. At the launch I received a goodie bag that contained samples of the products that were discussed in the presentation. Just to comment on the packaging, it is stunning! I feel like I would buy Nikel products just to decorate my room lol.
Starting off with the Nikel Cleansing Milk with Immortelle, immortelle a natural ingredient that I mention earlier and it is a Mediterranean plant. This is one of my favourites by the way, I love it because it removes makeup effortlessly without having to rinse the product off after using it. This product is so mild and gentle and it dissolves into the skin without leaving it dry. The Alpine Rose Tonic contains stem cells, they help to repair the skin and increase the regeneration of more stem cells. It is to be strayed onto your skin, away from the eyes as it will cause irritation, and left to dry. This product is so great because it even protects your skin from UV rays. This can be sprayed onto a clean face in the morning, on top of makeup during the day and on a clean face in the evening. It is so light and it hydrates and refreshes the skin. The Evening Primrose Oil is a calming oil and it hydrates the skin. It retains moisture in the deepest layers of the skin. It has a natural scent to it and it absorbs quite quickly into the skin. The Anti-Wrinkle Elixer with 12 plants is for the older women who suffer from signs of skin aging, wrinkles and dry skin. Next are the Nikel face creams. I tried the Nikelnutris face cream and my skin felt so soft and nourished, the scent is so delicious. I squeezed most of the product in the sample and I realised it was too much so as you can tell that you only need a little therefore the products last long. Nikel is a luxury product and it is great quality. I learned that creams should not be bought based on wanting to use something in the morning and something else in the evening but rather use what your skin needs that day whether it’s nourishment or to be moisturised. The Nikelhidris Eye Cream is also another one of my favourites. I learned that the pH levels around your eyes and around your lips are the same. This eye cream contains a vitamin complex that helps to reduce wrinkles and brighten dark circles around the eyes and fine lines around the lips. Just apply a thin layer and massage the product in gently in circular motions around the eye and lips. You also find the Nikelift Eye Cream which reduces wrinkles and fine lines and any signs of dull, fatigue eyes.
